Color List

I had asked if anyone would like a how to for simple coat colors. Well this is where you can leave a comment stating what colors you would most like to see first. please keep in mind that some colors have different shades that are considered the same color, example Bay so if you say Bay please state which shade you are talking about. If you have a real life horse in mind & don't know exactly what shade or color it is or you would just like to know how to get a coat that looks like that please feel free to post the URL to the picture so I can take a look. I will be doing solid base coats first, NO white markings or patterns of any kind, I will touch on those later on I am just doing color like Black or Bay simple solid coats roan & silvers will be include as solid coals, so feel free to request them as well

also note that some color are harder to match with out heavy shading so the Sims version may look slightly different than the real thing.

  1. My favorite would be a mahogany bay. Here is the url to one that isn't to sooty. http://www.marenastud.com.au/images/for-sale/salute/salute-full-home.jpg. He does have white markings, but I was mainly looking for the color of horse I like. I'm looking forward to other posts.

    1. Kathy B. Mahogany Bay is one of my favorites too But I tend to like the darker shades of the color, so I'm glad you added that picture.

  2. I favor a lighter by, maybe something like this: http://sporthorse-data.com/horse/10613055/143/Horse_Simpson-big.jpg. The markings don't matter, but I'd like to know how to get this color, so that it doesn't look too flat.
