I have seen some horses in the Equus Sims Community with hooves that do not look realistic. There are two reasons for hooves on a Sims horse to be the wrong color.
- The Person who created the horse didn't know what color is should be.
- The Breeder didn't fix it.
I know not everyone who loves horses or plays the Sims knows what color the hoof should be & I would hope that a Breeder who sold a foal or horse to one who know the difference wouldn't be mad if this was fixed by the new owner so that the horse looks right. I would hope that every Breeder would fix the hoof color before selling a horse or foal to a new owner, but this isn't always the case. Equus Sims has been kind enough to make a fix for the "Hoof Cube" that's a result of a foal having the Hoof layer. I know not every simmer has this yet. But my point is the same if you use the Hoof Layer on your adult horses but you remove it from a foal you sell than I would hope that you would be okay with the new owner adding this layer back on to the horse after they install the horse or after the horse is fully grown.
And before someone says, "We have rule in this Community about Changing a Horses color!", I Know remember I to am a part of this community, I to fallow all the rules that each Stable has about changing colors but I feel that the Hoof should be edited by A the Breeder/Seller or B by the Buyer but only if the hoof
needs it.
